In this course you'll learn about the pottery process, the origin and types of clay, how to knead clay, how to make liquid clay and recycle clay, an introduction to the pottery technique, how to center and shape the pieces on the wheel, how to trim the pieces, finishing touches, texturing and painting, firing and glazing techniques.

Includes: 12 hours of training, all tools, firing, transparent glaze and pieces made.

STRUCTURE

1st session: Explanation of the pottery technique, demonstration, how to centre and shape the piece on the wheel.

2nd session: How to mould the clay into concrete shapes.

3rd session: How to make the trimming, finishing touches - texture and painting techniques.

4th session: Firing and glazing techniques.
